CURRENTLY COVETING // FESTIVAL EDITION

What is an Irish Summer without the mandatory music festival attendance? Music festivals (and the accompanying prayers in the weeks leading up to said festival in the hopes of having good weather) have been an intrinsic part of my summer since I was about 15 or 16 years old.

I love the whole festival vibe - I like the camping and being outside, I like the laughs that are had, I love the music and I also equally love the festival fashion.

This year I'm loving the 70's trends that are all over the high street. I don't think this is a trend that I would wear day today, but in a big field listening to Blur I think it'll do just fine! :) I myself am heading to Electric Picnic, in Stradbally, Co. Laois at the beginning of September and below are some of the items that I neeeeeeeeed (Okaaay, WANT!) to have in my wardrobe before September 4th rolls around!

1. Tassel boots €41 here, 2. Leather fringe bag €41.48 here 3. Crochet print playsuit €27 here 4. Shift dress €24 here 5. Suede shorts €76.04 here 6. Denim shorts €24.99 here 7. Round sunglasses €9.99 here 8. Tan belt €7.99 here 9. Fringe tassel bumbag €14.99 here

As you can see I 'm really embracing the fringing trend. I am in love with the bumbag (number 9) and the fringed boots (number 1). I love the white play-suit from boohoo.com. Play-suits are an effortless outfit choice for a festival as you only need a single item of clothing - no faffing about with a top and shorts and tights and God knows what else! Denim shorts are a staple, and these suede shorts from Asos add something a little different! The tan belt adds a little extra something to a pair of denim shorts and of course, you couldn't be without a good, funky pair of sunglasses for your festival weekend! The green shift dress is an easy option to throw on around day three when the energy required to make an effort with your outfit is in short supply :)

Tell me which items here tickle your fancy or, point me in the direction of some other pretty festival outfits that you've been loving!

Talk soon,

Clare :)

XO
